Predators 10 Ripon 0

Park came through a bruising encounter at preston Avenue beating a strong and determined Ripon side.Neither side managed to totally dominate but some great attacking play put Caulfield over in the corner and we turned around 5-0 up.

The second half was much the same ,Ripon played a canny spoiling game that stop the Predators taking a grip. However another try saw us 10 ahead,we then missed two easy penalties that would have seen us home and dry but instead ended up tackling like demons as Ripon camped in our 22.

A good win overall, the first time ripon haven't scored all year.

Tynedale 5 Predators 12

Park came through a good test in Corbridge today getting through to the Cup semi final without ever really getting their attacking game together.

But first things first a big thanks to our subs who never got on but who will play a big part against Driffield

We went to sleep from the kick off and three phases saw the blue and whites go over in the corner but failing to convert.Park took another 20 minutes to really start to threaten and after some good kicks ahead ended up with a 5 metre scrum,Caulfield picked up at 8 and put Atkinson in who finished well. gillespie converted from the touchline.

Following another good kick ahead by Sutherland, Atkinson raced half the length of the pitch ,got the lucky bounce and score his secong to put us 12-5 up.

With no scoring at all in the second half Park tackled well  and particularly towards the end spent prolonged periods in the opposition half.

A valiant effort from Tynedale, but they never really looked like winning

Predators 61 Durham City 0

Predators blew away Durham City with some champagne rugby at Preston Avenue on Sunday.Apologies for not naming all the try scorers but i lost count ,worthy of note though Connor Rogerson who chipped in with four(lucky for him he's not 18 or he'd be getting the jug).

Park dominated from the start and with a bit more composure near the line would have scored earlier than they did, however some great rolling mauls resulted in scores and the backs were on song again with Atkinson playing a great pivotal roll at standoff.

We turned around at 18-0 up then the floodgates opened ,as heads went down on the opposition and tackling dissappeared the lads tossed the ball around and ran in another 7 tries.

Hats of the durham who kept competing and are a much better outfit than the scoreline portrays, just one of those days for Park .

Another big performance for Churchill who continues to impress and improve,Caulfield as good as ever and great work from all the front row combinations
